Hi there! I’m Ben Hendricks, the creator of NameJog. I built this app because I wanted a better way to remember the people I meet and be able to grow deeper relationships—but first I had to remember their name!
My wife and I live in the Atlanta area and are constantly meeting new people. For years, I would ask something along the lines of “who was that family we met at the park who also had a kid about the same age as ours and liked wakeboarding?” I could even picture their face and remember the weather when I met them, but their name escaped me!
I needed a way to capture context details about a person, and then quickly search for these details when I needed to recall a name. This app was finally my own solution to the problem. It’s more than just a contacts app — it’s a powerful way to capture context details and apply notes and labels to your entries, coupled with state-of-the-art voice capability to make entry and recall a breeze.
I’m a builder who cares about practical tools — apps that are useful in real life and help build genuine connections. NameJog is my answer to a problem I’ve lived with for years, and I hope it helps you as well!
